Measurement & Analytics

Spatial-native metrics that 2D media simply cannot offer — approach, gaze, attention, and interaction — alongside standard programmatic reporting.

Standard Metrics

Every Prism AR impression tracks the full standard programmatic event suite:

Impressions

Counted when the creative is rendered and at least 50% visible for 1+ second.

Fill Rate

Percentage of ad requests that returned a winning bid and rendered a creative.

eCPM

Effective CPM: total earnings divided by total impressions, ×1000.

Clicks

User tap / pinch / select events on the ad creative.

CTR

Click-through rate: clicks divided by impressions.

Revenue

Net publisher revenue after exchange fees, in USD.

Spatial Metrics

These signals are unique to spatial computing and are included at no extra cost with every Prism AR integration.

MetricPlatformDescription
Gaze FixationvisionOSDuration and count of eye-tracking fixations on the ad surface.
Dwell TimeAllTotal time the placement was within the user's field of view.
Approach DistanceAll (dimensional)Closest distance the user moved toward a dimensional placement.
Attention ScoreAllComposite score: dwell × gaze fixation, normalized 0–100.
Interaction RateAllPhysical interactions (tap, pinch, gesture) divided by impressions.

Impression Counting

Prism AR follows MRC (Media Rating Council) guidelines for spatial impression counting, adapted for XR environments:

  • Overlay ads: at least 50% of pixels rendered, held for ≥ 1 second within the app window.
  • Dimensional ads: the anchor plane is confirmed stable and the creative is rendered in-scene.
  • Video ads: impression fires at 2 seconds of play; completion fires at 97%+ of duration.
  • Invalid traffic (IVT) filtering runs server-side on every impression before revenue is credited.
